Thomas & Thomas was founded in 1969 in Houston,
Texas by Elvis and Glenda Thomas after retiring from a successful
insurance agency in Oklahoma. While an agent, Elvis Thomas won many
agent and agency honors, and at one point Mr. Thomas served as President
of the Oklahoma Mutual Agents Association, the successor to the
current Professional Insurance Agents association (PIA).
Since its inception, Thomas & Thomas has
exclusively served insurance agents and insurance companies. We
also work closely with attorneys, bankers, CPA's and others who
deal in insurance matters.
Roger Thomas joined the firm on a contract basis
in early 1987, and when Elvis and Glenda retired in 1988, the firm
was purchased by Roger. Since that time the family tradition has
carried on, with Roger's wife, Debs, assisting Roger with many aspects
of the business.
Over the years, Thomas & Thomas has grown
in many ways. The scope of our services has expanded, and we assist
agents and others throughout the United States. We have also forged
strategic alliances with others to strengthen our presence.

the business of insurance, consulting is concentrated in four primary
